64th Annual National Day of Prayer

NDOP

The National Day of Prayer (NDP) is a vital part of our heritage.  Public prayer and national days of prayer have a long-standing and significant history in American tradition. In 1952, Congress established an annual day of prayer, and in 1988, the law was amended, designating the first Thursday in May as the NDP. In Garland, we have assembled on the NDP for 14 years.

This year’s theme is ….”Lord, hear our cry” emphasizing the need for ALL of us (ordinary residents, public servants and our military) to place our faith in the unfailing character of our Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and men.

This is a family friendly event. Please bring your children and invite your neighbors and others.
