Books and Beyond 1-17 GravityChildren ages 6 through 12 can practice the STEAM concept of science by learning about gravity at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Books and Beyond program. At the January program, participants will listen to an explanation of the force of gravity then conduct experiments that illustrate the principle. These experiments include playing with gravity-defying beads, dropping weighted and unweighted objects at the same time, and establishing balance points to find an object’s center of gravity.
