Granville Arts Center FacilitiesThe City of Garland presents one of the most romantic movies of all time, “You’ve Got Mail,” and the movie that inspired it, “The Shop Around the Corner.” The original with Jimmy Stewart will begin at 7 pm, after there will be a short intermission, and then the Tom Hanks remake will begin.  The perfect night to get in the Valentine’s mood!  This event is free and open to the public.  Sales of refreshments will benefit the Garland Good Samaritans. Granville Arts Center Facilities4 Ever Young & the Reflections, an eight-piece 1950s Rock & Roll & Doo Wop band will be performing at the Garland Plaza Theatre.  The band performs the best hits from well-known greats like Elvis Presley, Dion and the Belmonts, The Diamonds, The Edsels, Frankie Ford, The Ventures, Bobby Lewis, The Coasters, The Crests, The Marcels, The Centurions, The Revels, The Del Vikings, The Five Satins, Joey Dee and the Starlighters, The Del Shannons, Chubby Checker, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, and many other best-known and loved 1950s stars.  Tickets are $10, cash only, at the door.
