Garland Summer Musicals Announces Auditions for their 37th Season
The Garland Summer Musicals announces auditions for their 2019 Season on March 23-24 at the Granville Arts Center (300 N. Fifth Street, downtown Garland) for Abba’s Broadway Blockbuster Mamma Mia! and the stage and film spectacular Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Michael Serrecchia will direct Mamma Mia!, and Buff Shurr returns to stage Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Performances for Mamma Mia! will be June 14-16 and June 21-23. Rehearsals will begin on May 20th.
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is scheduled for July 19-21 and July 26-28. Rehearsals will begin on June 24th.
Patty Granville is the Producer. The Music Directors are Mark Mullino for Mamma Mia! and Larry Miller for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Choreographers are Megan Bates for Mamma Mia! and Kelly McCain for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
All those interested in auditioning should bring sheet music for two songs in the correct key and appropriate dance wear and dance shoes.

Auditions and performances are held in the Brownlee Auditorium of the Granville Arts Center, 300 North Fifth Street in downtown Garland.
Special college credit in the form of scholarships is available through Eastfield College for the cast and crew.
