Garland, Texas – Join us March 20th at 8 p.m. in the Brownlee Auditorium to enjoy classical guitarist Jacob Cordover performing Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s “Guitar Concerto No. 1.” And don’t forget the 10th Annual Movie Scores Quiz! Also to be enjoyed at our March performance, members of the Lone Star Youth Orchestra will join the GSO in in our annual Side by Side performance.  These talented students will assist the GSO in performing Von Suppe’s “Overture to Boccaccio.” Aside from Mr. Cordover’s formative studies at the Australian National University School of Music with renowned performer Timothy Kain, he completed post-graduate studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with Laura Young and at the Escola Luthier with Arnaldur Arnarson in Barcelona.
