Harmony at 506 Art
Another 506 Art attraction has been installed and we couldn’t wait to get to Downtown Garland and play on the outdoor instruments from Harmony Park in Durango, Colorado. There is a set of 3 xylophone like instruments with a with a mallet attached with a rubber head for striking the metal keys. The instruments are tuned so that they will always play in harmony with one another. This attraction is the latest gift to the citizens of Garland given by Robert A. Smith, owner of the once vacant lot at 506 Main Street that has become a celebration of the arts. For all to enjoy.
