New President/CEO for Rowlett Chamber of Commerce

The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has named Michael Gallops as the new President & Chief Executive Officer to lead the Chamber into the future.

Michael is a resident of Rowlett, a former City Council member and Mayor Pro Tem who has been involved in the Rowlett community for many years. “Michael’s life has always revolved around service to community, dedication to country and an unwavering love of others. His past commitment and involvement in the Rowlett Chamber has been exceptional.” said Whitney P. Laning, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “I am confident that with Michael’s vision and experience, the Chamber will continue to grow and meet the future challenges that face our business community.”

Michael takes the helm from Diane Lemmons who resigned last month to start a new opportunity with The Colony. Diane leaves the position after six years of successfully positioning the Chamber for growth and expansion.
