Special Auditions for Actresses at GCT!

Garland Civic Theatre is seeking actresses approximately ages 22 – 35 to audition as soon as possible play the lead ingenue in Neil Simon’s hilarious comedy – “FOOLS.”

Leon Tolchinsky has landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When he arrives he finds that the town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and Leon’s job is to break the curse. No one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes Stupid. But, he has fallen in love with a girl so Stupid that she has only recently learned how to sit down.  A true minute by minute laugh riot!

Auditions and rehearsals will be held at Garland Civic Theatre’s rehearsal space at 2703 National Place, Garland, Texas 75041.

Performances will be Thursday, March 3, 2016, through Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Granville Arts Center, 300 North Fifth Street, Garland, Texas. [Note: performances will be Thurs (Jan 3) night at 7:30, Fri & Sat nights at 8:00 and Sun (Mar 6 and 13) matinees at 2:30]
