Baylor Scott & White Health will celebrate the renaming of Lake Point Medical Center, now Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe, with a community event. Hospital staff, volunteers, and community leaders will gather for a brief ceremony to commemorate the milestone with a reception to follow.
Gary Brock (BSWH board member), and Brett D. Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Baylor Scott & White – Lake Pointe, along with other public officials will be present at the event and available for interviews.

Background:
The name change is part of the joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health and Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC) to own five hospitals in North Texas, which was completed in January.
Baylor Scott & White – Lake Point is a 112-bed acute care hospital serving the residents of Rockwall, Rowlett, Royse City and the surrounding communities since 1987.
