DART to Summer Vacation

When you’re ready to start planning your post-pandemic travel, DART is ready. Both of our region’s airports are accessible via DART.

Whether you’re riding DART to the airport or to a local attraction or destination, please note that the mask mandate is still in effect on the DART System. If you forget your mask, you will find mask dispensers on DART vehicles. Here’s how to make DART the first leg of your journey.

Orange Line to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Start at any DART light rail station and get on the Orange Line bound for DFW Airport Terminal A. Your vacation has officially begun! If your flight leaves from one of the other terminals, the airport provides Terminal Link bus shuttles outside of security, and the SkyLink people mover inside security. These will get you where you need to go.

Dallas Love Field via Love Link (Bus Route 524). Both the Orange and Green lines will take you to Inwood/Love Field Station, where you can connect to the Love Link. The service circulates between Inwood/Love Field Station and the airport, where the bus makes two stops (one of them right outside the baggage claim area). It’s an 8-minute ride, and the bus leaves every 15-20 minutes for most of the service day. (You can check out detailed schedule information here.) You’ll find easy-to-follow signage at both the rail station and the airport; there’s also an interactive, touchscreen kiosk at Dallas Love Field, which offers trip-planning tools to help you plan your ground travel.

Whether you are traveling by rail, bus or both, DART’s free GoPass® app is a great travel tool. You can purchase tickets on the app, learn when the next bus or train will arrive, and more. Downloaded GoPass from the App Store or Google Play store.
