Event Details

The Get to Know Garland Race is a one-of-a-kind adventure for individuals, families, athletes and everyone in between. Although reminiscent of a scavenger hunt, it takes typical competition to a new level. Participants think on their feet to solve a clue sheet that leads to 12 local destinations. Once there, participants snap pictures with a smart phone to prove they found the answer.

If you’re looking for a day of active fun, look no further! The Get to Know Garland Race lets you walk, jog or run at your own pace and exposes you to corners and history of the city that you may not have known existed.

Best part? It benefits charity and you have the opportunity to win prizes. The registration fee is a donation to one of Garland’s many community outreach organizations. (See the list below for eligible donation items)

Commemorative race t-shirt guaranteed to participants registered before April 22.
