Memorial Day

The United States of America flag was flying at half mast. there were crosses and small flags at ground level positioned around the garden. The veterans tribute garden is located behind the garland senior activity center on Avenue A and borders Avenue B. Bronze plaques inscribed with the names of those citizens of Garland who gave their lives in World Wars 1 & 2 are displayed on a wall at the headlined of the garden. We hope to be able to dedicate memorial plaques for the Korean war and the Vietnam War on Memorial Day of 2016.
