Rowlett Saying Goodbye to Fritzl’s

We’ve been advised by Klaus Fritz, owner of Fritzl’s Euro Grill, that he will be closing for good in December. His lease will be up, and there is no possibility of his remaining at his present location, 3390 Lakeview Parkway, just off Rowlett Road. 

Just as fine as any of the bakeries in Vienna are the baked goods at Fritzl’s. Klaus is an Austrian baker par excellence, and is now focusing solely on desserts. He is no longer offering a full menu of Austrian fare. The storms of February 2020 caved in his roof and created damage

that required him to close the restaurant for several months. His baked goods, made fresh daily, include his OMG chocolate cake, chocolate éclairs, strudels, Austrian cheesecake, and whatever else Klaus happens to be in the mood to create. Fritzl’s Euro Grill is open from 5 pm until 9 pm Tuesday thru Saturday, and often sells out. His faithful customers are hoping Klaus will find a new location in the area after closing in December.
