Youthful Expressions in Chalk

On August 17, Artist Lucas Cervellini and his crew Oscar Sanchez, Iris Ibarra, and Manuel Yruegas displayed their talents on the blackboard in Downtown Garland. The blackboard is the brainchild of Mayor Douglas Athas. It is intended for the use of anyone inspired to share their ideas and talents with the rest of our Garland citizens. Unfortunately, it rained later that day, so this artwork was most probably visible for only a few short hours. We hope this talented group will return and favor us with more of their creativity.
