Easter Baskets on the Square
Easter will arrive on Sunday, April 16th, and the members of Preservation Garland will be offering Easter baskets for the kids and gift baskets for adults at Marketplace in the Square in downtown Garland on Saturday, April 15th. President Cleo Holden tells us the decorative baskets will be all wrapped up and ready for presentation by the Easter Bunny the next morning. All proceeds from the sale of the baskets will be used for for the preservation efforts of the non profit organization.
The season for outdoor markets is upon us, and Marketplace on the Square began on Saturday, April 1st. In previous years this outdoor market took place on the third Saturday of the month, April through October. This year there will be two markets a month, on the first and third Saturday’s from 9 am to 2 pm.
