WINGSPAN THEATRE COMPANY in cooperation with The Bath House Cultural
Center, celebrates our NINETEENTH SEASON! This Fall, WingSpan Theatre
Company will present the Dallas premiere of BREADCRUMBS – By Jennifer
Haley. Jennifer Haley is a multi-award winning playwright. Ms. Haley
received the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Award for her play THE NETHER.
BREADCRUMBS – By Jennifer Haley, borrows fairy-tale iconography to
investigate the shadowy corners of the human condition. We open the
book of this fractured fairy-tale to find the brilliant and reclusive
fiction writer, Alida, who is lost in the tangled branches of her
memories. Alida must now depend upon a troubled young caretaker, Beth,
to help her complete her autobiography. In a symbiotic battle of wills,
they delve into the dark woods of their past, unearthing a tragedy that
shatters their notions of language, loneliness and essential self.
The play will be Directed by: Producing Artistic Director, Susan
Sargeant. The Cast:
Stephanie Dunnam (Alida) and Catherine D. DuBord (Beth). The production
will be Designed by: Nick Brethauer/Scenic Design, Jason Foster/Lighting
Design, Barbara C. Cox/Costume Design, Lowell Sargeant/Sound Design.
The production’s Stage Manager is: Bobby Selah.
The play Previews on Thursday, October 6, 2016. The play Opens on
Friday, October 7, 2016 and runs thru Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Thursday – Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. Also Saturday matinees at 2 p.m.
(October 8th , October 15th and October 22nd). There will be POST SHOW
TALK BACKS on Friday, October 14th and Friday, October 21st.
All performances will be held at The Bath House Cultural Center on White
Rock Lake, 521 East Lawther Drive, Dallas, Texas 75218. Ticket prices
are $20.00 on Thursday and Friday evenings and also for Saturday
matinees. Saturday evenings are $25.00. The Pay What You Can
performances are: Thursday, October 6th/Preview, Thursday, October 13th
and Thursday, October 20th. Discounts available for Senior, Students,
KERA Members, S.T.A.G.E. Members and confirmed Groups of Ten or More.
