Children use their imaginations to explore the themes and complete the activities, all while socializing with others their age and having fun.

At the October program, participants will learn about magnets and magnetic fields. Attendees will further their understanding of the STEAM concept of science by completing four experiments with magnets: solving a paper plate magnet maze, conducting “Is it Magnetic” tests, steering a magnetic car, and playing with magnetic slime.

No registration is required to attend this free event. Children must be aged 6 through 12 to attend. The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland.
